Psychic con-artist Bobby Pope is running out of places to hide. His on-and-off girlfriend Lucy "The Nail" Naylor grudgingly takes him in, but when Detective Theodore Irvine and his corrupt cops track them down, the suburbs of Denver erupt into a war zone.
